In recent times, the term “VUCA” has been mentioned more frequently in economic and social forums. It is a term used to describe the modern world undergoing V – volatility, U – uncertainty, C – complexity, and A – ambiguity. Many experts even express their concerns and predictions about the risks of a global crisis.

In the opening speech, Mr. Hoang Van Ngoc – CEO of Viettel IDC stated that the volatile economy poses challenges, but at the same time, presents opportunities for proactive organizations and businesses that have prepared and adapted with appropriate strategies.

One notable approach is ESG – a set of standards for measuring the orientation and operations of a business in terms of Environmental, Social, and Governance aspects. It aims to sustain and ensure long-term sustainable development for organizations and for the businesses’ impacts on the community. 

In Vietnam’s current context of economic integration, ESG will completely transform the playing field for enterprises through more transparent organizational operations, as well as increased environmental protection based on clear principles and standards.

After the opening speech, the conference was divided into two specialized sessions: Cloud Room and DX Room. With the participation of speakers from various renowned technology companies, the guests had the opportunity to listen to sharings and discuss the cloud computing market trends as well as strategies for businesses to embrace the digital transformation journey.

In the Cloud Room (Cloud Computing session), speakers from Viettel IDC, along with partners Veeam, Dell Technologies, and Viettel Cyber Security, exchanged ideas on advanced solutions and tools to accelerate the cloud adoption journey for businesses, including cost optimization, security, application modernization, and infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the DX Room (Digital Transformation session) gathered experts from international enterprises such as Alibaba Cloud, AMD, etc., to share their insights on new platform technologies and optimized solutions for production operations, facilitating the digital transformation journey of businesses.

Viettel IDC’s internationally standardized data center was showcased at the conference by advanced VR technology, providing customers with realistic experiences of the center and its services.

The event’s consulting team supported businesses in addressing cost optimization, security, modernization, and provided tailored and optimal solutions.
