DATA CENTER & CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE SUMMIT 2024

With nearly 3,000 guests and 50 domestic and international partners participating in 2023, the Data Center & Cloud Infrastructure Summit (DCCI Summit) 2023 organized by Viettel IDC is the industry’s largest and most influential event in Vietnam. One of the trends that will change the “digital game” and beyond in 2024 is Sustainable Technology. According to Gartner research, Sustainable Technology is ranked #1 among the top 10 strategic technology trends for 2024.

Sustainable technologies have become the goal for organizations worldwide as awareness of this issue grows clearer than ever. Data Center and Cloud Computing technology now not only form the foundation and driving force for the development of the digital economy and society but also play an increasingly important role in sustainably promoting this development.

Following the successes of the DCCI Summit 2022 and 2023 in shaping the digital future and accelerating the digital journey in Vietnam, 2024 marks the third year Viettel IDC has organized the Summit intending to develop a sustainable digital future through the application of technological advances.

The event, taking place in Hanoi (March 18, 2024) and Ho Chi Minh City (will be held on June 26, 2024), will host more than 3,000 participants from leading public and private enterprises in Vietnam. Supported by industry-relevant speakers from global solution providers, the Data Center & Cloud Infrastructure Summit is an annual forum where businesses convene, interact, and cooperate for sustainable development.

The conference will cover a diverse range of engaging topics including Edge computing widely applied across various fields, Edge to Cloud – Cloud Edge integration, AI and Machine Learning integration, AI applications in IT system automation and cybersecurity defense, and New Technologies (NPU, HPC, …). Additionally, discussions will continue across various sessions on themes such as Multi-cloud and hybrid cloud, Cloud FinOps, Data sovereignty, data protection, optimal solutions, system management, Green technology applications for data centers, and High-performance data centers catering to deep AI applications.

NEARLY 2000 ATTENDEES JOIN DCCI SUMMIT 2024 EVENT

On March 18, 2024, in Hanoi, the Data Center & Cloud Infrastructure Summit (DCCI Summit) took place with the theme “Developing a Sustainable Future”. This is the third year Viettel IDC has organized this conference with the aim of developing a sustainable digital future through the application of technological advancements.

The DCCI Summit 2024 conference was divided into three specialized sessions: the Data Center Room, Cloud Room, and AI Room.

In the Data Center Room session, experts shared insights into the global market trends and practices in constructing and managing data centers. They also discussed solutions for high-power density racks catering to AI application infrastructural demands. Additionally, they addressed challenges related to aligning Vietnamese data centers with international standards and sustainability requirements.

Meanwhile, the Cloud Room session focused on various topics related to the practical implementation of cloud computing in different fields, such as Edge Cloud Computing widely applied in finance, banking, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and e-commerce; hybrid cloud and multi-cloud solutions; Cloud FinOps; data sovereignty and data protection; optimal solutions and system management; and the use of AI technology in behavior analysis and process automation.

Notably, unlike previous years, DCCI Summit 2024 addressed a global trending topic: Artificial Intelligence (AI).

In the AI session, experts from renowned technology companies worldwide and in Vietnam such as Qualcomm, Radware, and Viettel AI discussed artificial intelligence and practical applications, optimal deployment strategies in Vietnam; AI in cyber-attacks and information security defense; AI applications in marketing and sales strategies, and high-performance and cost-saving AI infrastructure – the key to development in the AI era.
